Terms of Service

1. The service

Pocket School Pro provides AI-assisted homework tutoring: you submit a question or photo, and the tutor explains the concept and the steps to solve it. Explanations are generated by an AI model and may contain mistakes — always check important work with your teacher or lecturer.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Accounts for learners under [insert age] must be created and supervised by a parent, guardian or school.

3. Subscriptions, credits and billing

Paid plans give you a monthly allowance of Study Credits and a daily session limit.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Unused monthly allowances do not roll over unless stated on your plan.
• Prices are shown in South African Rand and include [insert tax treatment].
• Payments are processed by PayPal, Yoco or PayFast. We do not store your card details.
• Where a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled first.

5. Acceptable use

• Share your account, resell access, or attempt to bypass credit or usage limits.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service or its underlying systems.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of the homework you upload. You grant us a limited licence to process it in order to generate and store your tutoring explanations and to operate the service.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, provider outages or model errors may occasionally interrupt tutoring.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid in the [insert period] before the claim. We are not liable for academic outcomes, indirect loss, or loss of data beyond our reasonable control. [Have this clause reviewed for your jurisdiction.]
